A Relaxed Morning in the Tuscan Countryside at VIlla Petriola
For Rosie, The wedding day began just a short distance away from the main wedding venue, at Villa Petriola, a luxury boutique hotel in Tuscany and an exceptional choice for bridal preparations. Known for its elegant interiors, peaceful gardens, and beautiful natural light, Villa Petriola is ideal for couples seeking a calm, elevated getting-ready experience before heading to their Tuscany wedding venue.
Rosie and her bridesmaids spent the morning soaking in the atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside out of their bridal suite window views. There was champagne flowing, sunlight pouring through the windows, and the quiet anticipation that only a destination wedding morning brings. From a storytelling perspective, Villa Petriola offered a serene contrast to the grandeur of Tenuta Corbinaia Villa, allowing the day to unfold slowly and intentionally. While the team at the main venue was spending the morning bustling around to design the beautiful atmosphere for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception spaces, all of the ladies were able to relax in a charming boutique hotel not too far away.
Rosie wore a couture wedding gown by Galia Lahav, a design that felt both timeless and fashion-forward. Her look was completed by Ellie Parkhurst of Beautybyellieparkhurst, whose soft, luminous makeup enhanced Rosie’s natural beauty, and Mairead of Wedlocks, who styled her hair in a romantic, effortless way, which was perfectly suited to a summer wedding in Tuscany.
Meanwhile, Louis prepared before making his way to Tenuta Corbinaia Villa in Tuscany, dressed in a classic tux from The Noble Suitor. His look was elegant and understated and was truly a perfect match for the refined atmosphere of a luxury villa wedding in Italy. his Groomsmen were also in all black and complimented him as they strolled around looking like Bond 007 vibes.

The ceremony took place outdoors at Tenuta Corbinaia Villa, overlooking vineyards and rolling hills bathed in golden light. Designed by Roberto Fiori of monfleur.it, the floral arrangements complemented the landscape beautifully. The floral installations were soft, romantic blooms that felt organic to the setting and enhanced the natural beauty of the Tuscany wedding venue. The florals created a circle around the round stage that Rosie and Louis were married on.
As Rosie walked down the aisle, time seemed to slow. With the vast Tuscan countryside as their backdrop, Rosie and Louis exchanged vows in a ceremony that felt deeply personal, intimate, and timeless. All of the stillness, the views, and the sense that you are completely immersed in the landscape really made for a stunning wedding ceremony. I love capturing outdoor wedding ceremonies in Tuscany on my drone as well, for those birds eye view of the beautiful scenery all around the weddin venue, which in this case was so many lovely vineyards all around them.

Following the ceremony, guests gathered for cocktail hour on the poolside terrace, where the beauty of Tenuta Corbinaia Toscana truly shines. The soft glow of the setting sun, the sound of conversation drifting across the hills, and the unmistakable atmosphere of an Italian summer created a magical transition into the evening.
The Catering for both cocktail hour and the reception was provided by Tonino of Ristorante Tonino cortona, whose authentic Italian cuisine was a highlight of the celebration. Fresh, beautifully prepared dishes reflected the flavours of Tuscany and elevated the entire guest experience. The drapery and curved table designs of endless cheese, olives and bread boards were exactly what couples envision when planning a luxury destination wedding in Italy.
As night fell, the reception unfolded beneath the stars at Tenuta Corbinaia, as they did their cake cutting of a classic italian wedding cake with a fireworks show in the background. From the round tables, candlelight and elegant florals an atmosphere was created that felt refined yet relaxed. It was the perfect balance for an Italian countryside wedding. Rosie later changed into her chic Milla Nova reception dress, ready to dance and celebrate well into the evening.
making endless memories with loved ones under the Tuscan Sky
Music carried the celebration from day to night, with Krystal Kuartet and Krystal entertainment italy providing live band performances and DJ services for both the ceremony and reception. Their seamless transitions kept the energy flowing and the dance floor full long after dinner ended. They even had a band going through the tables as everyone was eating dinner, and all of the guests really enjoyed the atmosphere that they brought to the evening!
Every moment I captured at this Italian destination wedding really made me appreciate being a destination wedding photographer. I just love visiting new parts of the world and feel inspired at every new wedding venue that I photograph at. From editorial yet natural poses, candid storytelling approach to documented the textures, light, and emotion of Tenuta Corbinaia Villa in Tuscany, all of it turned out so beautifully. I also loved working Alongside mdm wedding videography, who created a cinematic wedding film that reflected the soul of the day and they were a joy to work with from start to finish.

The ceremony took place in The Director’s Suite at The Edinburgh Grand Hotel, a sophisticated space filled with natural light and sweeping city views. Officiated by Humanist celebrant Gillian Monaghan, the ceremony was warm, personal, and deeply meaningful. The calm elegance of the venue created a beautiful setting for heartfelt vows and emotional moments.
Olivia’s bridal look was modern and editorial, wearing the Persephone gown by Sau Lee. Clean lines and subtle drama made the dress photograph beautifully on both digital and film. Styled by The Talented Bride, her hair and makeup felt polished yet natural, complemented by her Dior wedding shoes and Tom Ford perfume, adding a luxurious finishing touch. Just a short distance from the gardens, this stunning red sandstone landmark, which was designed in the neo-Gothic style by Sir Robert Rowand Anderson in the late 19th century, stands proudly on Queen Street and is one of the city’s most photogenic historic buildings. Inside, the gallery feels like a palace of stories, adorned with intricate murals, sculptural details and the breathtaking Great Hall. The museum is complete with a celestial zodiac ceiling and processional frieze depicting key figures from Scottish history. For couples visiting Edinburgh on their wedding day, the Portrait Gallery offers a remarkable blend of architectural grandeur and cultural heritage. The wedding ceremony of Katherine and Tyler’s wedding day unfolded beneath cathedrals of nature, under the towering redwoods of John Muir Grove in The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. This special area of the garden is one of the most enchanting outdoor ceremony locations in Edinburgh: a circle of giant redwoods (Sequoiadendron giganteum) planted in the 1920s that reach over 24 metres high and create a stunning, cathedral-like canopy for weddings. Named in honour of the Scots born conservation pioneer behind the U.S. national park system, the grove brings a sense of calm, grandeur, and natural splendour to every ceremony held here.
Walking down a petal-lined path, surrounded by towering trees and the soft murmur of nature, Katherine and Tyler exchanged their vows in an intimate outdoor ceremony filled with meaning and emotion. Overlooking the Rock Garden and waterfall, this elegant space provides a refined and welcoming environment for reception celebrations.
Guests enjoyed drinks and conversations during cocktail hour in the hall’s spacious interior and adjacent outdoor areas, soaking up every moment of the celebration as the garden’s greenery became part of the evening’s ambience. Catering was provided by The Royal Botanics Edinburgh, whose culinary team delivered a thoughtfully curated menu full of seasonal flavours and beautiful presentation.

They still plan on preserving the mansion for the community, so the building and gardens will still exist, it’s just waiting to see who to contact about renting this mansion for your wedding day in the future. CUNEO MANSION IS A historic wedding venue just north of Chicago.
Sam and Adam were married in the beautiful, historic cuneo mansion and gardens. This mansion in Vernon Hills is designed in a Mediterranean style and features a stunning formal dining room with paintings on the ceiling and ornate historic details and windows throughout, a grand central hall that feels like a castle and a quaint private chapel. The mansion interior is filled with a collection of antique furniture, Renaissance paintings, historic tapestries and a lot of silver and porcelain objects that have remained within the mansion since the early 1900’s. Cuneo mansion was built in 1914 and was designed by architect Benjamin Marshall of Marshall & Fox, an architectural firm based in Chicago. He also designed a handful of other iconic chicago buildings like The Drake Hotel downtown, and THe Blackstone Hotel on Michigan Avenue. Cuneo Mansion was also the location of my best friends wedding, and that is just a sweet film to have your wedding day shared with.
sam started her wedding day morning getting ready with her best friends and family members and then arrived early at the mansion to have a few solo bridal portraits in the historic halls before having a first look with adam, at the mansion entrance. They decided to have their family photos and bridal party portraits ahead of their wedding ceremony, so that afterwards they could just head to the cocktail hour to spend the full time with all of their loved ones. Thier wedding ceremony was outside in the cuneo mansion gardens. It is a lovely space, that includes a pool, historic pillars and beautiful florals.

After the ceremony, with the lovely soft pink Cuneo Mansion in the background, they had their cocktail hour on the back terrace of the mansion with musicians, a champagne tower, plated hors d'oeuvres and lots of catching up with everyone. During this time are some of the loveliest moments captured of really excited emotions as everyone is hugging the bride and groom for the first time after saying I do.
After cocktail hour on the Cuneo Mansion Garden terrace, everyone headed into the grand dining room where there was one long table that was covered in candles for every wedding guest to sit around together. It was such a magical and romantic setting for their wedding dinner. After the dinner there was a live band in the central hall for endless dancing and a designer making permanent jewelry for all of the guests. Again, I always say how I’m not the best writer, but I truly feel like you’ll be able to feel how sweet the atmosphere was on this wedding day by perusing the images below. Dominique and Anthony decided to do a pre-wedding day celebration with their friends and family in Chicago by renting out Chez Wedding Venue in the heart of downtown Chicago and created a stunning atmosphere for their wedding cocktail party! They had the amazing team at Revel Decor design the decor and floral installations, which speak for themselves in the images below. Then Limelight Catering created custom cocktails (again, just browse the images below) that were truly unique and matched the decor as well! The candy floss, cloud shaped Cocktails were my favorite aesthetically! Chez Wedding Venue is a blank slate, with a grand staircase and loft looking over a high ceiling room with pillars and tall windows. It is all white, so any color palette you want to create will be able to happen seamlessly in Chez. I particularly loved this monochromatic palette that Revel Decor created in the space, and I honestly assume my clients book me because we’re already on the same page with our palette preferences, thankfully, because each and every wedding day I shoot, they seem to have my same taste, which I am extremely grateful for.
I always get excited when couples do things their way. Dominique and Anthony decided to get married in a more intimate way with just a few close family members and friends in Italy, so this wedding cocktail party was meant to include everyone they knew and loved in the Chicago area! They even had the talented DJ Matt Roan set the tempo all night and he never misses a beat, both literally and figuratively. The team at Limelight Catering, under the Revel Group, always presents their food so well. There is a full kitchen hidden in Chez, and they had their staff walking around with long clear trays filled with plates with full courses on them, from the apps, to a main meat dish, to the desserts. There were tables on the sides for the more chill guests, but those in the middle at the bar and on the dance floor were able to pick up a plate as they passed by. The whole evening felt like a mix of an epic dance party reception at a club, but also had the chicness of a fancy cocktail party! Everyone was also dressed to the nines, as Dominique was in a stunning Oscar de la Renta Gown and Anthony was in a full on look from Wool & Linen. And of course there was no one better to do her hair, then the lovely Alex Brown Hair. Truly, I’m obsessed with all of the beautiful hair styles she creates for her clients. The bride and groom’s personal style is one of my favorite aesthetic parts of a wedding day, so the fact that this cocktail party checked all of those boxes, really made this a memorable wedding event for me. They also did the Champagne tower justice as well! Such a fun way to start off the evening and the toasts from their loved ones! All in all, Chez Wedding Venue was an incredibly perfect space for Revel Decor, alongside Dominique and Anthony’s vision, to create a chic atmosphere that was perfect for their stylish wedding celebration in Chicago! x

Frankie and Patrick started their wedding day at The Hoxton Hotel. They were both surrounded by family, friends and they even had their sweet pup with them. Frankie had one of my favorite Chicago makeup artists, Joey, doing her makeup alongside Susan Ford and Paide McNalon on hair. Her final custom bridal look was put together by Dominic Lacquaniti. He was there every step of the way, making sure every piece of her gown was fluffed correctly. Dominic Lacquaniti also did Patricks entire groom outfit, so if you are wanting one person to be your sole designer, Dominic Lacquaniti is who you’re looking for. Patrick also had Star Wars cufflinks, which my husband (who second shot this wedding with me) and I completely appreciated.
Patrick was waiting for Frankie outside of the entrance of The Hoxton Hotel for their private first look in the middle of the West Loop. We then strolled around the block for portraits of just the two of them before hopping on a party bus to drive around Fulton Market for wedding party photos with the entire bridal party.
We made sure to capture the Chicago city skyline in the background of their wedding day as this city holds a special place in their heart.
After we roamed around Fulton Market with the bridal party and took photos in the Alleyway across from the Soho House, we strolled over to Morgan’s on Fulton for the wedding ceremony. We took a few photos in the ceremony spaced by the windows while they were able to watch their guests slowly start to arrive outside. At Morgan’s on Fulton, the ceremony space was candlelit with large windows that naturally lit the room as well. It was such a romantic and cozy ceremony with petals that lined the aisle beautifully. After Frankie and Patrick said “I Do”, everyone headed upstairs to enjoy the main selling point of Morgan’s on Fulton, the rooftop event space. It has a clear wall and ceiling that opens up above and on the sides, with a full open balcony wrapped around the reception space, where guests were able to freely roam all night with an outdoor bar on the balcony all evening long. There were also lounge areas with couches that overlooked the Fulton Market area of Chicago, along with the beautiful skyline. At sunrise, everyone headed inside the event space walls for their formal seated dinner table settings for the grand entrance of Frankie and Patrick. They were greeted with a warm welcome from all of their loved ones as they went straight into their cake cutting and first dances.
The way the clear ceiling and walls create a romantic city atmosphere at Morgan’s on Fulton, the guests are able to feel like they were sitting in the middle of the skyscrapers while surrounded by the bustling nightlife below.
There was a lot of dancing, led by the talented Toast and Jam DJ, and Frankie eventually changed into a shorter party dress to easily let loose on the dance floor surrounded by her friends! I love when there is so much joy, smiles and fun on a wedding day! There is something about dancing like no one is watching that really inspires me in people. I love when couples forgot that I’m there and they are just truly enjoying the company of their loved ones and celebrating uninhibited and in their true form. I’m truly grateful to document vibrant wedding days like this one was at Morgan’s on Fulton for this beautiful couple inside and out, Frankie and Pat. x
