I love to capture Meaningful moments

PHOTOGRAPHY IS HOW I JOURNAL WITH IMAGERY OVER WORDS...

I HAVE NEVER BEEN ONE TO EXPRESS MYSELF CLEARLY WITH WORDS, BUT HAVE FOUND A BEAUTIFUL WAY OF EXPRESSING EMOTIONS WITH IMAGERY. I GROW MORE PASSIONATE FOR THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHY WITH EACH NEW MOMENT I CAPTURE AND I FIND THAT MOST OF THESE MOMENTS HAPPEN WHEN LIVING OUT OF A SUITCASE AND EXPLORING NEW AREAS, RURAL AND URBAN, ACROSS MANY TIMEZONES AND WITH LIKE-MINDED INDIVIDUALS. I CURRENTLY SPLIT MY TIME BETWEEN EDINBURGH AND CHICAGO, BUT AM BASED IN EDINBURGH, AS MY HUSBAND IS SCOTTISH AND IT’S MADE FOR AN EXCITING AND MEMORABLE SEASON OF LIFE! I GAIN INSPIRATION THROUGH THE SIMPLE THINGS I EXPERIENCE EVERY DAY... THE LINES ON THE STREET, THE DETAILS IN ARCHITECTURE, THE FOG COMING IN OVER A HILL OR SIMPLY THE RIPPLING OF COFFEE AS IT'S POURED.

The below images encapsulate ME, IN MY ELEMENT. I CAN USUALLY BE FOUND WITH MY HUSBAND, ROSS, A CUP OF single origin filter COFFEE AND A FILM OR DIGITAL CAMERA IN MY HAND. ROSS IS USUALLY MY SECOND SHOOTER, BUT HE IS also MY very BEST FRIEND, MY HUSBAND AND THE KINDEST SOUL I’VE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF KNOWING. HE MAKES ME A BETTER PERSON.

Our son’s name is Cillian and he is the sweetest little human. We are also in love with our two feisty cats, Bailie and PepÉ.

As for my photography style, I would describe it as meaningful, intentional and editorial, as I want every photo to mean something to the couple, whether it is documenting a small interaction between two loved ones while remaining in the background, or placing the couple in a beautiful scene and letting them simply be themselves together or capturing the floral designs that were purposely picked and inspired by your grandmother's garden, I try to make sure I photograph all parts of the day in a beautiful yet natural way.
